BigsamUpholstery-Payment Policy
1. Purpose of the Policy
This policy has been established to ensure clear agreements between Bigsam Upholstery and our clients regarding payments. The aim is to maintain transparency, mutual trust, and smooth processing of all orders.
2. Quotations and Price Agreements
- All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue, unless stated otherwise in writing.
- Prices exclude any transport, delivery, or installation costs, unless otherwise specified.
- Orders will only be scheduled after verbal or written confirmation from the client.
3. Deposits
- A 50% deposit of the total amount is required before work commences.
- The deposit must be paid within 5 working days after acceptance of the quotation.
- Deposits are non-refundable unless the order is cancelled by Bigsam Upholstery.
4. Final Payment
- The remaining balance must be paid in full before delivery or upon collection of the product.
- For deliveries, payment must be received in our account no later than 1 working day before delivery.
5. Payment Methods
- Payments can be made via:
- Bank transfer
- Cash (for amounts up to N$ 5,000)
- Mobile Money (M-Pesa / eWallet / etc.)
6. Late Payments
- A 5% monthly interest will be charged on overdue amounts.
- In case of late payment, Bigsam Upholstery reserves the right to withhold the product until full payment is received.
- Any debt collection costs will be fully charged to the client.
7.Cancellations and Changes
- Cancellations must be made in writing.
- If production has already started, any costs incurred and the deposit will not be refunded.
- Changes in design or material choice after production has started may result in additional costs and extended delivery time.
Retention of Ownership
All goods remain the property of Bigsam Upholstery until full payment is received.
